Common questions about volunteering
The staff typically spend 8+ hours a week in collaborative project-based efforts. We share our experiences and offer room for growth, we are a party of the people and it will be through our work together that we will achieve party goals.
You must be 18 years of age and eligible to work in the United States to apply for a position. All positions are open until filled. You should confidently be able to contribute at least 8 hours a week and attend one weekly meeting to be a volunteer, and volunteer positions hold at-will termination.

The Assistant Treasurer is responsible for assisting the Treasurer in everday tasks, including building fundraisers, completing financial reporting, building budgets, scheduling meetings, and more.
This person should be comfortable being a public face of the party.
The Assistant Communications Director is responsible for assisting the Communications Director in the development of marketing campaigns, party media management, and more.
This person should be comfortable being a public face of the party.
The PlatformHero Coordinator has an important role - managing our Candidate Education Suite and expanding what we're able to prepare candidates for. They will coordinate with the Party Chair and the Party Leader to build curriculum, record lessons, and ensure that assignments get where they need to be.

Local Organizers
We're looking for motivated Local Organizers to join our team and get Progressive boots on the ground in their communities.
Local Organizers will help get party messaging onto the ground, working with other Local Organizers from across the nation to execute similar projects, themes, and more where needed. Local Organizers will join national calls at least once a month, but should focus on building a ground team of at least five people who can do things like flyer, recruit, organize, and more.
Strengths you should have: Teamwork, Organization, Logic, Creativity, Listening, Learning. Relevant experience preferred but not required.

National Organizers
We're looking for motivated National Organizers to join our team and make the Progressive Party more robust than ever.
National Organizers will serve as the leads of some of the party's key programs, including You Can Run. The role consists of weekly meetings with volunteer staff and regular conversation with the Party Leader and Chief of Staff. These organizers will be responsible for developing strategy in a team setting, brainstorming programs, and assessing hiring needs with the Chief of Staff's Office.

Distributed Organizers
Distributed Organizers are responsible for overseeing mass ground-level implementation of programs, working with local organizers to connect local movements to a national vision.
Program Organizers
Program Organizers are responsible for the high-level strategic planning behind party programming, including messaging, resource acquisition, and expansions.

Your mission is to promote a Progressive world by preparing candidates to run, win, and lead in their communities.
