WHO WE ARE

Every day in the United States of America, children stand for the Pledge of Allegiance, where they recite that our country is indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. We are bombarded with images of freedom and liberty, that our government is for the people and educated about how nearly two-hundred fifty years ago, our ancestors overthrew the tyranny of Great Britain and secured individual rights.

Nearly two-hundred fifty years later, our country is at a crossroads. There are two parties in America - one party funded by billionaires and bribed by corporations, and another party funded by billionaires and bribed by corporations. The people are struggling to make enough money to pay rent and groceries, while billionaires are making record profits. We are divided, and we have less liberty and justice than ever.

The Progressive Party was founded because this country needs a fundamental change and has a strong vision for our country. Our staff and supporters work tirelessly to bring this vision to light, including crushing corporate corruption, human rights for all, and ending endless war.

Overall, we want to return our country to the words that started it all: “We The People”, and shift our government’s priorities from corporate greed to human need.
