What does volunteering for the party staff look like?
The staff typically spend 8+ hours a week in collaborative project-based efforts. We share our experiences and offer room for growth, we are a party of the people and it will be through our work together that we will achieve party goals.
What are the requirements to join the party staff?
You must be 18 years of age and eligible to work in the United States to apply for a position. All positions are open until filled. You should confidently be able to contribute at least 8 hours a week and attend one weekly meeting to be a volunteer, and volunteer positions hold at-will termination.

National Organizers
We're looking for motivated National Organizers to join our team and make the Progressive Party more robust than ever.
National Organizers will serve as the leads of some of the party's key programs, including You Can Run. The role consists of weekly meetings with volunteer staff and regular conversation with the Party Leader and Chief of Staff. These organizers will be responsible for developing strategy in a team setting, brainstorming programs, and assessing hiring needs with the Chief of Staff's Office.
Strengths you should have: Teamwork, Organization, Logic, Creativity, Listening, Learning. Relevant experience preferred but not required.
Distributed Organizers
Distributed Organizers are responsible for overseeing mass ground-level implementation of programs, working with local organizers to connect local movements to a national vision.
Program Organizers
Program Organizers are responsible for the high-level strategic planning behind party programming, including messaging, resource acquisition, and expansions.
Note: Research shows that individuals from diverse or disadvantaged backgrounds are less likely to apply for leadership positions due to feelings of lack of qualification. Are you a people person? Do you love a big project? The Party Chair's office is looking for someone qualified (or someone eager to learn) to serve as one of You Can Run's Regional Coordinators! Your mission is to promote a Progressive world by preparing candidates to run, win, and lead in their communities. You'll be tasked with working with candidates, starting up local groups, and collaborating with Party leadership to spread the word about the Progressive Party! Want to help us win? Join our team!
